Schedule

Shift - 8 hour shifts - Varied - including weekends and holidays. Candidate must be flexible with no guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a long-term care facility associated with a hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assessments, administering treatments and medications, notifying the medical team of pertinent information, and assisting with admissions and discharges. Additional responsibilities include providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), caring for gastrostomy tubes and urinary catheters, performing nebulized treatments, managing wound vacs, CPAP and tracheostomy care.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and administer treatments and medications
• Notify MD/NP of pertinent information regarding patient care
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges
• Provide ADL assistance
• Manage gastrostomy tube and urinary catheter care
• Administer nebulized treatments, wound vac care, CPAP care, and tracheostomy care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Candidates must possess a valid Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment
• Experience in long-term care preferred
