Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

Schedule

12-hour day shift, three days a week, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist with a minimum of two years of recent experience in the specialty. This role involves working in a 24-hour department that averages 150 exams daily, including both inpatient and outpatient procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of radiological exams, including routine X-rays, fluoroscopic exams, and C-arm procedures.
• Perform lumbar punctures and other diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality imaging services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Utilize Cerner software effectively to manage patient information and imaging requests.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required.
• Experience with operating room (OR) procedures and fluoroscopy is essential.

Holiday Expectations

MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
