Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our NICU team. This Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides high-quality care for a diverse population of patients. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to delivering exceptional care for our newborns.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care for critically ill neonates.
• Perform routine procedures including intubation, central line placement, and gastric tube placement.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and health indicators continuously.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective care plans.
• Educate and communicate with families regarding patient care and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU Level IV hospital experience.
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Experience with advanced equipment such as incubators, ventilators, and cardiac monitoring systems.
• Preferred: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience and post-surgical care experience.
