Cath Lab RN - Days - 40 Hour Contract

This is an 11-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10-Hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00, rotating days as needed (Monday - Friday). On-call required, including weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab, with scrubbing experience in interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various cardiac interventional procedures including IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural interventions, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman.
• Monitor procedural sedation and perform post-procedural care.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Phillips, and GE MacLab.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and other documentation systems.
• Maintain infection prevention and ensure safety protocols are followed in the Cath Lab.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact License.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience, with recent interventional scrubbing skills.
• Must be comfortable with on-call duties, including weekends and holidays.
