Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, providing emergency medical care, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patient conditions in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff and other departments.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3+ years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required.
• Ability to manage patients with varying acuities efficiently.
• Proficient in recognizing changes in patient status.
