Registered Nurse - Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Infusion

AM Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description

This position involves working in a chemotherapy/immunotherapy infusion unit where you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments, as well as blood and blood product transfusions. The role requires a commitment to patient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions as per established protocols.
• Monitor patients during and after infusion procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Manage blood and blood product transfusions, adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and responses.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding treatments and care processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• 2-3 years of adult infusion experience, with outpatient infusion experience preferred.
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification from ONS.
• Travel experience preferred.
