Registered Nurse - OB Unit

Day Shift (7 AM - 7:30 PM)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide holistic, individualized care for patients in the OB unit using the nursing process. The RN will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgement, and teaching skills while committed to improving the quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecological patients.
• Independently perform general and unit-specific clinical skills under the supervision of the charge nurse.
• Manage supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and other hospital personnel.
• Adhere to all standards of nursing practice and hospital policies regarding confidentiality and ethical practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proficient computer skills.
