12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM on weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our MedSurg/Tele Float Pool. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to float between various units, primarily 6N and 7N, as well as other assigned units.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, pneumonia, and oncology.
• Monitor patient conditions and interpret telemetry strips.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• All travelers must take and pass a cardiac rhythm exam.
• Experience with telemetry patients is preferred.
