Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our high-volume emergency department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong teamwork mentality and the flexibility to adapt to various areas within the ER.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
• Support patients and families during emergency situations while ensuring a respectful and positive patient experience.
• Utilize advanced medical technologies and equipment in patient assessments and care.
• Facilitate effective communication and information updates throughout the patient’s visit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting, preferably in a high-volume ED with over 100,000 visits annually.
• Must hold active RN licensure and certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS by the start date; ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience in a Level II trauma center and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback to peers is preferred.
