7 PM - 7 AM, three shifts per week, including three weekend shifts in a four-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular ICU. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in critical care with specific experience in CVICU. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with complex procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform open heart procedures and ECMO cannulation.
• Provide care for patients requiring telemetry, pressors, positive inotropes, pacemakers, and chest tubes.
• Conduct frequent site assessments and vital sign monitoring.
• Manage care and recovery post-cath/EP lab procedures and pericardial drains.
• Lead and support nursing staff as charge nurse during night shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in a Cardiovascular ICU environment preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is a plus.
