Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery/Night Shift

Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Nurse with at least 3 years of experience to join our team during the night shift. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in the obstetric floor, with responsibilities including couplet care and care for patients undergoing hysterectomies. Candidates must demonstrate a history of travel nursing experience due to the current skill mix.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on the Labor and Delivery and postpartum units.
• Perform couplet care for mother and newborn.
• Administer basic medical-surgical care for hysterectomy patients.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout their labor and delivery process.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and perform necessary interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current RN license or Compact License.
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN for fetal monitoring. STABLE is preferred.
• Travel experience required.
