Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU) for a 4-week assignment. The candidate must possess a minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months. This position requires strict adherence to nursing standards and practices, and the nurse will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients in critical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the intensive care unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. The facility may cancel one shift.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months ICU experience (recent experience within the last 12 months is required).
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• NIH certification is required.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (ACLS and BLS required).
• Driver’s license to verify residency is required.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
