ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled (24 hours guaranteed), on call schedule to be determined by the facility.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. The nurse must be flexible, willing to work in various departments and locations, and ready to assist with patient management and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions; administer medications and IV therapies.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members.
• Utilize critical care protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately in medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 24 months of ICU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Current Arizona RN license without any hits.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or equivalent.
• Driver's license verification for residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
