Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (6 PM - 6:30 AM)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team, based primarily at NCMC with potential float support to BFCMC as needed. The role requires working every other weekend and holidays as per unit rotation. Candidates must possess the necessary certifications and experience to effectively manage emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and training drills as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (all from approved vendors).
• Active Colorado nursing license with no violations.
• Completed ER skills checklist within the last 12 months.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
