Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

10-hour rotating shifts, with a requirement to be available for call and holidays. The schedule includes:

• 4 × 10 hour shifts per week
• 40 hours per week, except for orientation week
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call requirement: Expected to take two calls per week, with weekday call starting after the end of shift until 6 am

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, adhering to all clinical protocols and practices. This role includes taking calls, managing patient care, and supporting healthcare teams during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care based on best practices and current medical guidelines.
• Monitor patient health and maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide medication administration and treatment per physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Flu and COVID vaccinations required, with medical/religious declinations accepted.
