L&D Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. The role involves monitoring the health and well-being of mothers and newborns, assisting in the delivery process, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress during labor, responding to changes in the mother and baby's condition.
• Provide education and support for patients regarding labor, delivery, and newborn care.
• Assist in the labor and delivery process, performing necessary interventions as directed.
• Document all patient care activities and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state.
• Clinical experience in a labor and delivery setting preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Completion of required competency exams and checklists prior to onboarding.

Schedule

This position requires availability for day shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.
