Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (12-hour shifts, includes weekends)

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Neuro Medical/Surgical unit specializing in telemetry. The nurse will provide patient care in a 30-bed unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:5, ensuring safety and optimal care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and vital signs.
• Coordinate care among interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Participate in unit-based performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification required.
• IV certification for LVNs preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
