ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 4x12-Hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00), with weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5 years of ICU experience, with strong skills in managing critical patients and performing necessary interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition; perform assessments and interventions as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including arterial line management and ventilator management.
• Assist with procedural sedation and monitor patients during and after procedures.
• Float to other units as needed, capped at 4 patients maximum while floating.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1.5+ years of ICU nursing experience.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS preferred.
• Pending New Mexico or Compact RN license accepted.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
