Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (19:00 - 07:00) with weekend rotations.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ER RN will be responsible for rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, and advanced life support for patients with various medical conditions. Expert knowledge in IV access and other interventions is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid assessments and triage patients in the emergency department.
• Provide trauma management and advanced life support to critically ill patients.
• Maintain expert knowledge in IV access and various advanced interventions.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support services including respiratory, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy.
• Ensure adherence to emergency protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or Compact License.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (all must be through the American Heart Association), TNCC preferred.
• Experience with rapid assessment, trauma management, and advanced airway management.
