Job Description

We are seeking a CVICU Registered Nurse with strong critical care experience, including CVICU expertise. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including those requiring advanced monitoring and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients.
• Monitor patients using Phillips bedside telemetry monitors and other advanced equipment.
• Perform central line and Swan insertion, as well as intubations.
• Support the implementation of ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including intensivists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience.
• Proficient with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
