7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, equivalent of every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Unit is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in daily rounds to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.
• Administer medications, including IV drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone.
• Monitor patients and maintain telemetry standards.
• Document telemetry applications, rhythm strips, and patient care activities accurately in the Meditech system.
• Engage in bedside rounding and hourly rounding with 5Ps checked.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers to meet patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Cardiac knowledge and experience preferred.
