Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

10-hour day shifts, with rotation for calls, weekends, and holidays. No block scheduling is available.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, focusing on high-acuity cases such as neuro and vascular surgeries. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams and adherence to established protocols. Strong clinical skills and the ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
• Assist in neuro and vascular surgical procedures.
• Participate in patient assessment and planning of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Level 1 trauma experience highly preferred.
• High rating on skills checklist including neuro and vascular competencies.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard.
• Access to electronic devices for application use.
