Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule

This position offers a 40-hour workweek consisting of four 10-hour shifts with day/night rotation, plus occasional weekends as required by unit needs.

Job Description

Join our cardiac cath lab and play a vital role in providing dynamic pre and post-procedure care, as well as PACU recovery. This exciting opportunity encompasses treatment for patients with vascular, electrical conduction, coronary diseases, and structural heart diagnoses. You will be responsible for delivering direct patient care and procedural support in both acute and non-acute situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during and after cardiac procedures
• Assist with procedural support in the cardiac cath lab
• Manage patient recovery in the PACU
• Monitor patients in telemetry

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License (New York only)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Recent CVICU/Cardiac Care or PACU experience is required
• Cath lab experience is highly desired
