8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with on-call responsibilities

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will perform Interventional Radiology procedures and assist the MD in various tasks related to those procedures. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in IR or EVOR procedures and have a minimum of two years of recent experience in this specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform Interventional Radiology procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist the physician during procedures to ensure patient safety and success of the procedures.
• Manage and operate imaging equipment effectively, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or EVOR.
• Cerner experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures.
• Prior experience in catheterization procedures.
