Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a rapid admission unit. The unit primarily caters to general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a rapid admission setting.
• Manage a patient ratio of 5-6:1, ensuring efficient and effective care.
• Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and treatment outcomes accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical nursing specialty.
• Current RN license verification through Nursys.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) must be maintained.
• Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days in work history.
• Completion of a skills checklist and provision of references.
