MRI Technologist

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 1-2 weekends per month. Flexibility with the schedule is necessary to meet patient care needs.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will perform imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety. The role involves working in a teaching hospital environment and adapting schedules as needed for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI imaging procedures in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to imaging procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT or ARMRIT license is mandatory.
• MR advanced licensure is required.
• Experience with Phillips MRI systems is necessary.
• Prior travel experience and teaching hospital experience preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of MRI experience is required.
• Epic experience within the last 2 years is nonnegotiable.
