Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel position in a 240-bed facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience and is expected to administer respiratory treatments, set up ventilators, assist with intubations, and provide patient and staff education. This role will require collaboration with a team of 15 RT staff on various units including ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and Med Surg.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies.
• Set up and manage ventilators.
• Assist with patient intubation procedures.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analyses.
• Provide education to patients and staff on respiratory care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• CRT or NBRC certification preferred.
• Experience with Meditech is a plus.
• PICU and NICU experience is advantageous.
