Job Description

The Endoscopy Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the endoscopy unit. This role involves supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure care for patients.
• Monitor patients during procedures and administer necessary medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions.
• Maintain and operate endoscopic equipment as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must have prior experience in an endoscopy or similar setting. A valid RN license is required.
