Adult ICU Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed. Availability required on weekends, holidays, and floating as per department guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Adult ICU Registered Nurses who are committed to providing quality care in critical situations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in adult critical care, with specific experience in stroke management and NIHSS certification. Candidates should be willing to adhere to strict protocols and meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to adult patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patient status and administer necessary medications and treatments.
• Enhance patient care through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document all care provided in accordance with hospital policies.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain skills and knowledge.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience with recent involvement in the last 12 months.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS from approved vendors.
• No disciplinary actions on state license to practice.
• Valid driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
