Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse

Job Description

The Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for providing exceptional care to NICU patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of the available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Schedule

This position follows a 24-hour shift schedule from 19:00 to 19:00.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• Travel experience is required; no locals will be accepted.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
