Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3-12 hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM).

Job Description

This position requires a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The nurse will manage patient care and administer treatments while ensuring safety and comfort for patients during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the medical team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Active and valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIHSS preferred.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
