7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled, with 24 hours guaranteed. Banner is allowed to cancel one shift.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Unit (PCU) Nurse to join our specific overflow unit task force. The Resource Float Pool provides critical support across two campuses, requiring candidates to possess strong adaptability and diverse clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Float across various Adult Health units, including Med Surg and PCU, providing comprehensive patient care.
• Occasionally assist in the Emergency Department (ED) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for adult patients awaiting bed placement.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license to practice with no hits on the state license.
• Life support certifications (ACLS and BLS) must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• Candidate must provide a driver's license to verify residency.
