Registered Nurse - Level III/IV NICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, scheduled for 36 hours with a guaranteed 24 hours per week. Required to work weekends and holidays as per department needs.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position requires recent experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting. The candidate should be adaptable to varying schedules and departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the health status of neonatal patients.
• Administer medications and perform necessary interventions per physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in patient care.
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months NICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Current Life Support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No disciplinary actions on state nursing license.
• Active BLS and NRP certifications from approved vendors.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
